Louisville is a good place to live for you in general. Here are the down sides: Summers are hot (no wildfires though) There is about 1 or 2 shootings a day now (sometimes more). I'd bet those two things are improvements over LA. Rent here is cheaper than most of the country but by no means is rent cheap.
